Public Records Requests

Making a Request

Anyone seeking to request public records from this Board pursuant to NRS 239 may email their request to with the following:

  • Name of requester
  • Mailing address
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • A detailed summary of the information being requested
  • The method (paper mail, email, etc.) and location of where the records may be sent


The Board does not charge a fee at this time for public records. 

Confidentiality of Certain Records

  • Complaint/Investigation Records: The Board’s complaint/investigation records are confidential per NRS 637B.288 unless the person submits a written statement to the Board requesting that such documents and information be made public records.
  • Disciplinary Records: Per NRS 637B.288 (2), the charging documents filed with the Board to initiate disciplinary action pursuant to NRS 622A and all documents and information considered by the Board when determining whether to impose discipline are public records; and NRS 637B.280 (3) An order that imposes discipline and the findings of fact and conclusions of law supporting that order are public records.

Mailing Lists

Persons seeking to obtain a mailing list of Board licensees should not make a public records request and may instead request and pay for a mailing list through our website.

Official License Verifications

A licensee seeking an official license verification should not make a public records request and may instead request and pay for an official license verification through our website
