Advisory Committee on Fitting and Dispensing Hearing Aids

The Advisory Committee on Fitting and Dispensing Hearing Aids was created in 2015 following the consolidation of the formerly separate Audiologists and Speech Pathologists Board and Hearing Aid Specialists Board. The Committee serves in advisory capacity to the full Board to consider and make recommendations specific to Fitting and Dispensing of Hearing Aids.

The Committee is comprised of no less than three (3) and not more than five (5) members appointed by the Board for a term of two (2) years. The Advisory Committee is composed of the following practitioner types and numbers in accordance with our law:

• At least two (2) members of the Board: one (1) licensed dispensing audiologist, and one (1) licensed hearing aid specialist.
• Not more than three (3) additional members who are licensed dispensing audiologists, licensed hearing aid specialists, or any combination thereof.

Current Advisory Committee Members
