Audiology Licensing Changes

Please note that due to legislative changes in 2015 (merger of SLP/AUD and Hearing Aid Boards) and 2025 (Assembly Bill 2025), some audiologists may have multiple license records.

  • Audiologists licensed before 2015 held a second hearing aid dispensing license which was converted to a "dispensing" license when the Boards merged.
  • Effective January 1, 2026, all Nevada-licensed audiologists may fit and dispense hearing aids without a separate endorsement per AB177. "Dispensing" licenses will show as expired effective 1/1/2026, followed by newly issued standard licenses.
