Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology Interstate Compact (ASLP-IC)
Nevada passed legislation in 2025 through Assembly Bill 230 to join the Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Interstate Compact (ASLP-IC), which allows eligible licensed audiologists and speech-language pathologists an alternative method for providing services in other member states.
This legislation took effect July 1, 2025, but the ASLP-IC has not yet begun issuing privileges, expected in late 2025. Nevada will not be operational for some time after this as we establish needed regulations, policies, data exchange processes, and other structures to become operational.
The ASLP-IC is only available to applicants who meet criteria for a standard license in speech-language pathology or audiology, and does not include provisional/clinical fellow SLPs or SLP Assistants (SLPAs). To learn more, please visit the ASLP-IC website.
